Established in 1985, K B Rollitt & Company is a small firm of Independent
Financial Advisers who value our close long term relationship with our clients.
We are privately owned by the working directors and are based in Nottinghamshire.
The Company's ethos is very simple - we act as agents for our clients and always
seek to secure the best financial arrangements for them. We are dedicated to
providing good, impartial and independent financial advice, and to improving
the financial well being of all of our clients.
We currently offer two levels of service via the web-site.
1: Full Advisory Service
Under our Full Advisory Service we will complete a review of the areas of interest
and make recommendations based on our findings. This could involve a face to
face meeting or alternatively you may complete our on-line fact find and we
will provide on line or telephone based advice.
2: Execution-only Service
Under our Execution Only Service we take your instructions and act on your
behalf to purchase policies or investments on your instructions without advice
being sought or given. Because this involves much less of our time, we return
most of the initial commission produced to you in the form of a discount.
Charges
We offer a free initial consultation. Thereafter, we are remunerated either
on a fee or commission basis.
On a commission basis, we will be paid by the companies with whom you make
investments. In all cases any commission payable will be disclosed to you via
the illustration/quotation from the relevant company concerned or by K B Rollitt
& Company Ltd directly.
Alternatively you may prefer to pay fees for the time we spend working on your
account. In this case we will record the time spent on your affairs by each
member of staff and produce an account for you, itemising the costs involved.
Fees are charged at different rates according to the complexity of the work
and the experience and qualifications of the member of staff involved.
The options will be discussed with you and your agreement sought to the method
of payment that meets with your requirements, before any work is carried out.
